'One of a Kind' — French 'Crab' Hallmark — 24" Sterling Silver Chain Included

Rare, Unique French Napoleon Sterling Silver 5 Francs 'PILL BOX', Snuff Box or Necessaire Dated 1824 with Silver Clasp and Silver Chain. This was a custom order, Handmade in France. Fully & clearly Hallmarked with the French 'Crab' Hallmark and by the Silversmith. This Box might have been used for 'Opium'. Included is a 24 inch long, Sterling Silver Chain, also Hallmarked. Cleverly designed so that it can be Carried or with the Silver Clasp, worn with the 'Chain'. CONDITION, WORKMANSHIP & QUALITY are excellent with no dents, dings or repairs. The neck chain is fitted with a sterling silver spring ring clasp that is functioning properly and securely.

From the incomparable Workshops of Nathaniel Mills comes this Exceptional, Rare and well constructed 19th Century English .925 Sterling Silver Snuff Box with the most intricate overall Engine Turned decoration and substantial weight. Dimensions are: 5.1 cm Long x 3.2 cm Wide x 1.4 cm Deep and weighing about 25.5 grams. Hallmarked, clearly by the Silversmith both on the inside of the Top and the Bottom. Both practical and Decorative as well as a collectible investment in antique sterling silver. Google 'Nathaniel Mills' to begin to understand this Box. The Metropolitan Museum of Art as well as other Public Institutions, has examples of his Work. CONDITION, WORKMANSHIP & QUALITY are excellent, well cared for and, a rare collectible 'Work of Art' by a world renowned English deceased Silversmith.

Rare, Unique French Napoléon .950 Sterling Silver 5 Francs 'PILL BOX', Snuff Box or Necessaire Dated 1869 with detailed Sterling Silver Clasp. The Box and Clasp are inset with 3 Rubies. This was a custom order, Handmade by well world renowned French Silversmith, Eloi Pernet, France. Fully & clearly Hallmarked with the French .950 Silver Hallmarks and by Eloi Pernet. Dimensions: Diameter about 3.8 cm, Depth about .6cm. This Box and Clasp are decorated with 3 Rubies and might have been used for 'Opium'. This Box was a Custom Order and must have been created as a 'Special Order' — I have never seen another. Cleverly designed so that it can be Carried or with the Silver Clasp, worn with a 'Chain'. CONDITION, WORKMANSHIP & QUALITY are excellent with no dents, dings or repairs.

The 'Book of Matches + Striker' portion is on the Match Book itself. Dimensions: about 59mm long x 44mm wide. An unusually Heavy 36.9 grams for a MatchBook Holder, with Gilt interior are both signs of Quality. Box has a Blank Cartouche, No Inscription. A practical and most decorative conversation piece — carry it, or put it on a Table or, in the Kitchen & use the Matches to Light your Candles, Cigar or whatever. CONDITION, WORKMANSHIP & QUALITY ARE ALL EXCELLENT.

From the French and incomparable Workshops of Max Le Verrier comes this exceptional and large Handmade Covered 19th Century solid Bronze Box with the most interesting and lovely Decoration on all 4 Sides and Top. A Hunting Scene Circa 1336 is depicted as the subject of this Box, something dating back to the Middle Ages. CONDITION, WORKMANSHIP & QUALITY are exceptional. Note the perfectly designed 4 simple Ball Feet in Bronze and the 2 Hinges, which work perfectly. Interior is lined. Dimensions are: 16.5 cm Long x 10.0cm Wide x 5.5 cm High. Signed by the Sculptor on the Bottom and the Bronze hallmark. A very useful Box, on a Desk, a Coffee Table, or for Jewellery.

Signed by the Sculptor on the Bottom in raised relief and engraved Description on the inside of the Cover. A very useful Box.

Exquisite large XIXth Century French gilt metal Jewelry Box with inset original miniature painted on Ivory. Box is beautifully decorated on the top and all sides. Hinge is perfect and box closes tight. Miniature is in excellent condition. The interior has a red velvet or cloth lining and overall, Condition & Quality are excellent. 4" wide x 4" deep x 1 3/8" high.

The Silver is the highest quality, finer than Sterling Silver with Head Minerve #1 + 2 Silver Hallmarks, 'Sanglier' + Silversmith S L for Léon, 58, rue Fontaine-au-Roi, Paris. This Box dates to the late XIXth Century. Condition & Quality are excellent with no dents, no dings. The workmanship exemplifies the Quality of work done by the French XIXth Century Silversmiths. Most likely used as a Tobacco or, as a Snuff Box, it is Fully Hallmarked with Minerve Head #1 + Hallmark of the Silversmith. CONDITION, WORKMANSHIP & QUALITY are exceptional.

Fabulous Antique French Porcelain + .950 Quality Silver Box, late XVIIIth early XIXth Century. Signed on the bottom with the initials, 'D.V.' Dimensions: 3.25" x 2.5" x 2.5" high. Decorated all over with Floral pattern in pastel colors. Interior is plain white porcelain. The bottom and top are protected by a SILVER (finer than Sterling) band or rim in Vermeil. Condition, Quality & Workmanship are exceptional with no chips, no dings.
