French FAIENCE PLATE 18th Century

This 18th Century French Faience plate with sculpted edges has a white background over which is painted in underglaze, blue flowers with a floral center medallion. There is some minor chipping to the outside edges with one chip approximately 3/4". The underside is in near perfect condition, indicating to me that this plate served little if any time at the table, but was used for hanging decoration and this might explain the chip on the inside edge. 10"
