Exceptionally beautiful, RARE and highly Decorative Antique Bronze Handmade SCULPTURE in the form of a Dinner Gong with its original Baton Signed by Max Le Verrier. The Center Bronze has been Decorated with a Viking Ship with Sails, mounted on a Bronze Base. The Baton is French Bakelite. Le Verrier had his own Foundry in Paris where this Sculpture was created & made. CONDITION WORKMANSHIP & QUALITY are excellent. What a wonderful Table Decoration and Conversation Piece. Max Le Verrier is an important French Art Deco Designer who worked more in Spelter than Bronze which makes this Sculpture that much more important. It is unique, large and quite heavy.
