RARE "PERFUME BOTTLE" Gold & Crystal Dutch, XIXth Century +Case

From the Netherlands with Original custom made Velvet & Silk fitted Perfume Bottle Case.

In the Cictionary, "Poincons d'or de Platine et de Palladium, by Tardy" I found the mark on the shoulder, neck and top indicating that this bottle dates from 1853.

The Mark, a 'leaf' in an oval was used to guarantee that it was Gold. Condition & Quality -pristine.

Hand-stitched red calf leather case with a leather handle and exquisitevelvet lining. Each weighs 4.6 - 5.5 ounces and each has its own crystal stopper. The necks of each bottle are protected with 'Silver Gilt Mounts' (Gold Vermeil), each stamped with 3 French Silver Control Marks 'Minerve with the #1 (means higher quality silver than Sterling) About 4.5 inches tall.
