PAIR of Crested English Georgian WINE COASTERS, Circa 1810 - RARE

Matched Georgian Pair of Antique English Silver Wine Coasters made circa 1800-1820. This really is a magnificent pair of Wine Coasters with turned wood bases which are crested on a central Sterling Silver Reserve with a Camel, an uncommon Armorial and quite lovely. Dimensions: 5.75" in diameter and 2.5" high. Antique Sheffield is the early form of Silver plating before electricity was invented. It is made of copper with sheets of pure silver fused onto the top and bottom by heat. The article is then made in the same way as a piece of silver. The walls of the coasters are joined in a dovetailed manner and this is faintly visible. British sites list similar uncrested pairs for 350-600 Pounds Sterling. These pieces have not been replated, as they have never needed it. There is a Hallmark which I am not familiar with.
